This is permanent. Deleting your Gymex Fitness account erases your data and cannot be undone. There is no way to recover it afterwards.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly inside the Gymex Fitness app:
- Open the Gymex Fitness app and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab, then open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete My Account, then confirm with Yes, Delete Everything.
- Your account and data are permanently deleted and you are signed out immediately.
Can't access the app? Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in or access your device, email us from the address on your Gymex Fitness account and we'll delete it for you:
gymex374@gmail.com — subject line "Delete my account".
Please send the request from your account email so we can verify the account belongs to you. We aim to verify and process email deletion requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Your account and profile (name, email, username, and avatar).
- Workout history, exercises, sets, personal records, and training programs.
- Nutrition logs, meals, and daily nutrition goals.
- Body metrics and measurements.
- Progress photos and any notes attached to them.
- Community posts, messages, shared workouts, and shared programs.
- AI Coach conversation history and app statistics.
What data is kept, and for how long
After deletion we do not retain your personal fitness data. In limited cases we may keep a minimal amount of information:
- Legal and financial records: where we are legally required to keep records (for example, transaction and tax records processed via Apple App Store or Google Play), we retain them for the period required by law.
- Anonymised data: aggregated or anonymised information that can no longer identify you may be retained for analytics.
- Backups: residual copies in encrypted backups are rotated out and permanently overwritten within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
